Incoming frosh 2010:
Orientation Week 2010 coincides with Rosh Hashanah (from Wednesday evening to
Friday evening). Queen's Hillel is working hard to ensure that any Jewish students
observing Rosh Hashanah on Thursday and Friday will not miss key frosh week
events. When we have confirmation of what's going on, we'll post it here and
on our main page. Please feel free to
email us with any
questions.
If you're thinking about coming to Queen's University, but are worried about keeping in touch with your Judaism and being able to meet other Jewish students, or even just looking for a relaxed atmosphere to meet other people, then Queen's Hillel is for you. Despite our small population percentage in comparison to the size of the university, Hillel has been successful in keeping students connected and together beyachad.
You don't need to be a member to join Hillel, but with membership costing just $35, there's no reason not to! Even if you just come to 4 Shabbat dinners all year, you've already saved money. Members also get discounts to most other events.
You can join Hillel at any of our events (just talk to the people in the blue shirts at the front table). You can also join our email list by clicking here and scrolling to the bottom of the page.
